I attended the Midsummer Night Solstice Retreat in June 2023 in Norway. I went without expectations though curious about what experiences lay ahead. Reflecting on it, the group was of like-minded people from around the world and all were glad and joyful to be there. I felt at ease to experience and explore "inside and out." I know I am healing even after the retreat. The retreat fortified my knowing that I am on the right path trusting in my journey. Dear fellow Vikings. It was almost as surreal to come home yesterday evening as it was to arrive at Bergen a week ago. The New Viking Retreat was a beautiful adventure; exploring the Norwegian culture and local food, having time for inner exploration through astrology, Tarot readings, yoga, saunas, cold water swimming and meditation, being physically challenged by different hikes and enjoying the friendship and sharing of all the group participants.
Ragnhild did a wonderful job arranging the accommodations, classes, meals and other logistics. Everything was of excellent quality with a creative and expansive blend of teachers, restaurants and activities. We had so many great “surprises” every day that kept us engaged and happy.
George was very generous with his time and expertise by giving astrological readings for everyone and sharing his world wisdom in talks and participating with the group. His compassionate nature was so present!
Ragnhild and George were an excellent team. They were present, flexible and heart centered and we loved getting to know them in this amazing Norwegian setting.

Attending the Norway retreat as a 15-year-old was unforgettable. From the moment I set foot in the stunning landscapes of Norway, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. The retreat offered a perfect blend of adventure, self-discovery, and cultural immersion. Exploring the breathtaking fjords, hiking through lush forests and doing it all with good quality, like minded people. The first night of the retreat we were straight into it. Three hours after arriving I was rowing a viking boat. I could feel my viking beard growing! The retreat had a perfect ratio between adventure and relaxation. Some of the activities that were offered were new to me. Such as meditation, sound healing and Astrology. I always found astrology odd and confusing but of course that was before I went to Norway. A couple of nights into the retreat I was speaking with the Astrology teacher (George Lewis) . I found it astonishing how he was able to read my personality, likes and dislikes, pretty much everything with just Astrology. As a teenager yoga and meditation aren't really my thing, but the teachers taught it in a way that was fun and enjoyable. I must say the luxurious accommodation was the icing on the cake. Something I appreciate very much!

The New Viking Retreat in Norway was first of like being in a roomful of the 'Best of Families'.
There was an instant knowing, acceptance, support & LOVE. George & Ragnhild had perfectly timed our activities where we focused & experienced reclaiming our mind, body Spirit trilogy.
The surprises were exceptionally fun.
The food was '6' star & it was so very special to have our own private chefs. Accommodations were top-of-the-line, historic & definitely Norwegian influenced.
Time stood still [except it was over too soon] as we lived completely in the moment, able to let down our 'shields' in a familial group of complete love & acceptance & support. George helped us tap into the inner reaches of our being through tarot, astrology & sound healing massages. His super positive energy was contagious & absolutely awesome to be in the presence of.
